Files contain correspondence and material relating to construction and permanent improvement projects at various facilities within the Department of Public Welfare. File for each project includes correspondence with Supervising Architect, Division of Architecture and Engineering, Governor, departmental employees, contractors, engineers, and architects concerning the planning, financing, and progress of project. Also included are land surveys; site plans and drawings; blueline prints and drawings; cost estimates; contracts; notifications of acceptance of bids; preliminary plans and specifications; specifications for plumbing, heating, electrical, and general work; reports on the status of appropriations for permanent improvements; requests for release of funds; authorizations for release of funds; photographs; change orders; certificates of substantial completion; and minutes of project study meetings.
